MARMOLEUM

Marmoleum Flooring

Marmoleum has gained recognition and popularity in recent years due to its durability and impressive green credentials. Gone are the days of linoleum being dubbed as a plain, dull material which paved hospital corridors and school hallways; now many people across the UK are beginning to embrace this material as a sustainable, versatile and attractive flooring alternative for home environments.

Highly Durable and Exceptionally Versatile

Marmoleum is a special type of flooring manufactured by a British company called Forbo Flooring. The four main natural materials, which are linseed, pine resin, wood flour and limestone, are pressed together in an oxidisation process which then dries and is cut into sheets or tiles. The result is an extremely durable flooring product which is resistant to marks and actually becomes tougher over time. It can be dyed almost any colour using environmentally friendly pigments, from natural stone effects to bold reds and oranges.
